Essence was shared at the World Government Summit, Dubai kickstarting the morning sessions of February 11th and 12th 2019, enabling delegates to begin each day with a serene, focussed and quiet frame of mind.
In 2018 a demonstration of Alchemic Sonic Environment (ASE) took place at the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) office. This was instigated by Linda Adami and resulted in Amal bin Shabib, Chief Executive of the Dubai Design Lab and wife of Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama experiencing Essence. This made a powerful impact, and, as a result, Satya was invited to produce a multisensory deep listening experience for 200 participants at the prestigious World Government Summit.
This annual gathering brings global thought leaders, policymakers, and business executives together to address the challenges and opportunities facing humanity. Attracting over 90 speakers and 4,000 delegates from more than 150 countries, the World Government Summit provides a platform for meaningful dialogue and exchange. This invitation marked a significant milestone for the emerging ASE Method, demonstrating its potential to contribute and catalyze positive change on a global scale.
The World Government Summit’s emphasis on shaping policies that improve people's lives aligns with the mission of the ASE Method, which leverages the power of multisensory deep listening experiences to foster optimal mental states, thus enabling clear thinking and decision making.

To deliver the meticulously curated sounds that define the ASE experience, Satya collaborated with spatial sound expert Paul Oomen of the Spatial Sound Institute in Budapest. Together, they crafted a precise ASE immersive environment that transformed the sound field. The ASE Hybrid system combined omnidirectional speakers with unidirectional speakers, an innovative microphone matrix and vibro-acoustic floor to precisely represent the complexity of a near field, mid field and far field intimate psychoacoustic experience within a large conference space. This new setup allowed sound to be transmitted through both air and bone conduction, creating a visceral multi-sensory deep listening experience that represented a major technical advancement for the ASE Method.
In the acoustic realm Satya was joined on stage by Ryan Hurtgen as vocalist and co-artist, together they added two important new Earth Instruments to the Essence experience developed by instrument innovator and musician Alan Tower: The Samalan, Innato flute and the Ehcetal ( a uniquely developed wind flute ).
The inclusion of these new instruments highlights the ASE Method's commitment to innovation and experimentation in the pursuit of optimal mental states. By embracing diverse musical traditions and incorporating cutting-edge instrument design, the ASE Method creates a rich and multidimensional sonic environment that engages the listener on myriad levels.

This 200 person iteration of Essence represented a significant technical and acoustic achievement, pushing the boundaries of the ASE Method and offering a deeper exploration of the work's multidimensional sonic layers. The larger scale proved that it was possible to create a group experience that was intimate, immersive and interactive, showcasing the evolving nature of the ASE Method and its ongoing pursuit of optimal mental states.
In this version of Essence, precision-tuned 136.10 Hz tuning forks were incorporated, symbolizing and promoting harmony and receptivity. Gifted to delegates, these forks aimed to foster thoughtful decision-making, a critical factor in shaping a better future for our planet.

Through this innovative integration of sound and technology, the ASE Method demonstrated its potential to not only enhance individual well-being but also promote deep listening and encourage comprehensive, empathetic dialogue among leaders and policymakers thus impacting the way we approach critical issues and decision-making processes on a global scale. Having showcased the transformative potential of ASE on the global stage, Satya continued to champion the vital importance of sound, moving next to the heart of academia at Modern Art Oxford.
